The winter months have seen a lot of activity at IIHP all over the country. In November there was a state level seminar at Bareilly, UP. It was followed by the Andhra Pradesh Convention of IIHP and formation of a new state executive. Just before the end of this year we had a grand regional seminar by newly formed Gwalior unit of IIHP along with active support and participation from Shivpuri and other units. Dr. Kusum Bharadwaj, State President IIHP UP were the guests of honour.

This one day regional seminar was held at hotel Atithi Inn in Ravi Nagar, Gwalior on 23rd December 2018. The seminar was attended by more than 250 delegates and students.

Soon after the inaugural session, Dr Sudhanshu Arya, State president of IIHP UP elaborated upon the need of the hour that is ithe unity of homoeopathic fraternity and how IIHP is spearheading this cause by providing a imeeting ground for all homoeopathic professionals. He emphasised upon the history of IIHP and its contribution in the growth of homoeopathy in India and how it is shaping the future of homoeopathy in India.

The scientific session began with a lecture by Dr Rashmi Shukla of Nagpur on the scientific nature of homeopathic cures and how we can and must claim assertively this aspect of homoeopathy plus we need to establish the cures achieved by homoeopathy before the medical fratemity and general public as well in the modern medical terminology.

Former principal of VRH Medical College and currently the chief coordinator of IIHP in the MP state Dr M K Gupta presented many outstanding cases from his long career as homoeopath, emphasizing the effectiveness of homoeopathy in various difficult cases. At the same time his presentation was a bounty for the students as he elaborated different approaches to prescribing with befitting examples from his cured cases.

This was followed by a sumptuous lunch and socialization with selfie sessions. Students and delegates had a beeline for a selfie with their favourite respective speakers and teachers.

In the last scientific session Dr. Pawan Pareek of Agra while speaking on the role of homeopathy in the lifestyle diseases presented many cases with different medicines and gave tips on lifestyle correction. His commentary on the social ills was filled with anecdotes and his humours style was liked by all,  especially by students.

In the concluding session, the IIHP Gwalior Unit president Dr Jain addressed the audience. The patron of the MP state unit Dr Bhuprendra Kant Bharadwaj, in his unique style, thanked delegates, speakers, organizers and guests for sparing their valuable time for coming so far to make this event a successful one despite the harshness of winter season.

In this programme anchoring was shared by Dr Humaira Khan, Dr Kalpana tiwari and Dr Pramila Pacahuri. This programme received active support by very able team of organizing chairman Dr OP Gupta in which Dr Narendra Pathak worked as organising secretary, Dr Atul Gupta as Finance Secretary & Dr J K Mishra as Finance Chairman. This was not all. In The end Dr M K Gupta announced there is more to come. In January of February IIHP is going to host a programme by its educational committee at Bhopal in association with IIHP MP Unit and another with LMHI at Delhi.
